Salary: £27,500 inclusive of OLW
Hours: 37.5 per week – part time hours available
Location: Hounslow Borough; hybrid and fully remote options available
Contract: Fixed term until 31/03/2025
Responsible to: Advice Session Supervisor

Citizens Advice Hounslow is a well-established charity operating in the London Borough of Hounslow, supporting over 10,000 clients a year. We have been operating the Universal Credit Help to Claim helpline for many years, supporting thousands of residents to successfully claim Universal credit, thanks to our friendly and dedicated team.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an adviser with experience of giving Universal Credit advice to join our Help to Claim team.

In this role, you will be:

  • taking calls on our “UC Help to Claim” helpline
  • checking eligibility rules for UC, doing a benefit check if appropriate
  • guiding clients through the UC claiming process
  • offering practical support to those who require it, like three-way calls to DWP.

This role is suitable for an adviser with good communication and digital skills.
