In January 2027 the old landline phone network will be switched off. It’s being replaced by a digital network that uses the internet to make phone calls. A reminder that the Digital Phone Switchover website has information on the switchover process. Anyone with a telecare device should let their provider know, even if they aren’t being switched over yet.
