With more Universal Credit claims and other benefits being claimed in recent months, we are monitoring the application of the benefit cap and how it affects Hounslow residents, particularly in high market rent areas, struggling to pay the rent because the cap reduces Housing Benefit or the Housing Element of Universal Credit.
